Intro
28 Thali is a Mumbai-based vegetarian subscription brand founded in 2023. It celebrates India’s culinary diversity with authentic, home-style meals, cooked using cold-pressed oils, Himalayan rock salt, and in-house masalas, and served in eco-friendly packaging that reflects its sustainable values.

Problem
The brand had a strong food philosophy but no digital presence or design system. To grow beyond the kitchen, it needed a cohesive identity, sustainable packaging, and a seamless subscription flow that could fit naturally into the lives of busy professionals.
Solution
28 Thali began as a food concept focused on delivering authentic, home-style meals. Our role was to shape this idea into a recognizable, dependable subscription brand with a clear visual and digital identity.
We designed the brand from the ground up, including logo, packaging, menus, and on-ground materials, and translated that identity into a custom Shopify experience. The ordering interface, menu logic, and content structure were built to reduce friction, improve clarity, and support repeat subscriptions.
As the product evolved, we continued refining the brand language and digital experience to align with customer behavior, helping 28 Thali grow steadily through consistency, usability, and word-of-mouth trust rather than heavy advertising.
